do you ever get that feeling? right after you watch some damn good movie,right after the credit rolls, you just sitting there like some idiot and in your head " waaatttttttt....that was like the bestest movie ever,the hero was like "bzzzzz" and then the bad guys were like "peww peww pewww" then the ladies were like "arghhhh dont rape me" (to this day i havent seen even one convincing rape scenes in a movie,not that i wanted to of course) mannnn i wish i was in the movie,i wish the movie was my life! now what should i do with my life? why it feel so empty all of sudden?"
you had such moment, haven't you?
well that brief moment of emptiness and cluelessness is why i watch movie for. there are such movie that have a perfect blend of well directed scenes, uplifting yet not too complicated plot and brilliantly written scripts that left you in shock and awe after you seen it. such movie that emptied your mind so that you could embrace it genuineness. to some extend,makes you question your existence. its like watching a superhero movie as a kid (90 was the good years) and for the next 2 or 3 weeks you hoping you were born with such superpower or gain some through some freak lab accident (its always an accident,why?)
unfortunately,such movies are somewhat considered as a rare treat nowadays, most of the time, we leave the cinema wondering "why on earth i pay rm15 for that piece of garbage? i've watched a better story portrayed in a 5 mins commercial on TV"
